Abalimi Bomoba Base Sezela

Sezela Cane Growers Association (SCGA) is the single non racial Grower organisation representative of all sugar cane growers supplying the Sezela Mill. SCGA is a member organisation of the South African Cane Growers Association (CANEGROWERS) which is the national organisation representing South Africa's 41 000 sugar cane growers.

The SCGA members have a paid up membership of approximately 4200 growers and collectively produce in excess of 1.6 million tons of sugar cane per annum with a gross value of approximately R480m.

The estimated direct employment created by the members of this organisation is more than 5000 jobs of both a permanent and fixed term contract nature.
